As with all forms of art, one of the perennial questions of music is what exactly is it all about?

Hailing from bands such as Victoria Street (est 2010-2015), an eclectic pop-rock quintet, to Test the Divide (est 2017-2020), a hyper aggressive progressive metal outfit,  Darren believes that music is not just about sounding good, but about what you as a musician can make people feel. To him, music is about your connection with the medium, and the community at large.

Boasting a plethora of experience in various genres, Darren has never stopped in his quest for instrumental mastery in Progressive Metal, the intricacies of which tickles his obsession. Despite his personal beliefs, however, Darren aims to equip you with knowledge of the hows and whys of bass, regardless of genre and style.

And he promises that inevitably, you will come to enjoy the bass as he does.
